“I want to create a paradox.”

I meant it to be of exceptional size to offer something striking, so that one would want to mediatize, post online, film, etc...  Because Doxa Digital, that is not limited to the where or when, to here and now. This apparent paradox pushes Doxa Digital one step further: with mediatization as the subject, the language and the means. It is in fact, a reflexion that uses the subject that it criticises, making it a loudly speaking aesthetic. 

The techniques employed are based on Chinese traditions in Canton, and this is an opportunity to reflect on artistic and craft work, and what it means to be productive as an artist in a society of excessive consumption.

Doxa is a reflection that utilizes the subject she critiques, leading to a talking aesthetic. The limit of "Doxa" is not in the moment or place, but in the present. An object of craft and slowness, in places of society such as stations, public square, if possible large stores, museums, etc... As well as on the intangible media space.

The final element to understand Doxa is its connection with ancient Greek philosophy. Of course, his name already clearly evokes the mixture of everything true or false, opinions, rumors. The choice of materials for its realization was also inspired by the famous Allegory of the Cave of Plato, the material is the same as that of the traditional umbrellas which are translucent, recalling the shadows and the deformations of things of the real. The public is invited to wander and ask themselves questions, or not, to find themselves in the work, but they cannot ignore it .
