Doxa

Shockingly monumental our work in progress; Doxa is a critic tightly linked to hyper consummation of media, while being made to entice its mediatisation through its appearance.

“I wanted to build something monumental, challenging, multidisciplinary”

An apparent paradox pushes Doxa Digital one step further: with mediatization as the subject, the language, and the means. It is in fact, a reflexion that uses the subject that it criticises, making it a loudly speaking aesthetic. Because "Doxa" is not limited to the when and where, but the here and now.

Trial and error. An artisanal process for Doxa and its ambitious aim.

I want to emphasize the value of artisanal heritage as a counterpoint to mass production. Bamboo wickerwork, traditional paper, technique using Tung oil is typically associated with Chinese crafts, but here it transcends its traditional role and becomes a medium of fine contemporary art.
